rgb dithered classics

An experiment in minimalism. You may be aware of how red, blue, and green can be combined to form any other color. Indeed this is how old CRT televisions worked. I'm using the same principle to re-create some of the greatest artworks in history. I have shrunk each image to a maximum of 128 pixels (on it's shorter dimension), and then processed the image to only use red, green, blue, black, and white pixels. This creates a unique effect where the image appears as a random jumble of squares when viewed close up, but the further the viewer is the clearer the image becomes.
